Face (Sidhe)Zentropa: Safe House (2008)
Face (Sidhe) by GB
No one could pronounce the Gaelic name (for Banshee) without me telling them (a slight oversight in my tune naming process) so I just titled it something completely unrelated.
The pictures on the right for the Zentropa tunes are from Dave's place, where we recorded the Zentropa albums.

Hello I See the Assassins Have Failed by GB
This is the last tune on our debut record. For more Zentropa, visit myspace.com/greggbrennan. You can buy this CD by going to the 'buy stuff' page. I'm writing some comments because I not-so-secretly wish I was a film director and could make a commentary track on my records...
Caliber KenoGregg Brennan Aiseiri Quintet: Unreleased Live Stuff
'Caliber Keno' by GB
Recorded live at the Rex Hotel, Toronto Canada (board tape, unmixed) 31 Jan 2007
Jon Kay always opened this tune with a sort of Albert Ayler blasting before going into the melody which often had the people right in front of him more than a little shocked, though on this version its cut off. I think of it as an 'Elephant Love Call', which does not have anything to do with the title of the tune, its subject matter and most certainly not Jon.
Stormare (War Song)Gregg Brennan Aiseiri Quintet: Unreleased Live Stuff
'Stormare (War Song)' by GB
Recorded live at the Rex Hotel, Toronto Canada (board tape, unmixed) 26 April 2007
This song has gone through more titles than I can probably remember at this point, but the 'Stormare' is for Scandinvian actor Peter Stormare. It was/is also called 'Deathstar Canteen' after the Eddie Izzard sketch. 'I have to get a tray?'
from the CD 'Fish' 2002.
Of all the tunes that I think captured the vibe of our session and the studio, I think this one's up there, at least for me. For more 'Fish', visit mariostakoushis.com to hear 'Templar' and 'Smite the Heathens'. You can buy this CD by going to the 'buy stuff' page
